Chloe Bailey, the half of Chloe x Halle has announced that she will be releasing her solo single, “Have Mercy”, on Friday.
The 23-year-old American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer had been teasing fans for a while regarding the project, but it appears that the wait is now over. “Have Mercy” will be the first single for her much anticipated but untitled debut album, which will reportedly be released via Columbia Records and Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.
Chloe and her sister Helle released their album in 2018, titled “The kids are Alright”, under Beyoncé’s record label Parkwood Entertainment.
Since then, Chloe was added to the cast of the TV series “Grown-ish”, and the song titled Grown become the theme song for the series.
She is set to perform the new single at the main show of the upcoming 2021 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS on September 12.
